This is a built in function for G2 and G3 PIXIE dimmers.
This cannot be disabled.
It is intended to protect the light source from potential electrical in-rush and provide a more luxuriant experience, aligned with top end home automation systems
The “ON” speed is much improved on the G3 dimmer as we received feedback the G2 dimmer took too ling to turn on.
