PIXIE works with a wide range of automatic garage door motors.
PIXIE’s Blind and Signal controller (PC206BS/R/BTAM) has been designed to work with automatic garage door openers which feature a ‘key-switch’ input.
This is also known as an OSC interface ( Open Stop Close). This has been a feature of most automatic garage door openers for decades.
The PIXIE devices provides a volt free PULSE to the garage door motor controller.
- – Pulse – OPEN
- – Pulse again ( whilst moving) – STOP
- – Pulse again – CLOSE
Some motors require a PULSE for a solid 1 second. If you are pulsing your motor and it is not responding, modify the setup of your PIXIE Blind and Signal controller to a Timed Contact Closure of 1 second
Simply power the PIXIE Blind and Signal controller, and from one of the output channels using 1.5mm twin or “Figure8” cable directly into the ‘key-switch’ input on your garage door controller.
You can test the operation by using the test switch on the PIXIE controller.
