Yes.
As all PIXIE devices communicate between themselves using Bluetooth Mesh technology, which does not depend on Internet connectivity for operation, all PIXIE devices will continue to operate no matter the state of either the internet OR your WiFi network at home.
The PIXIE devices create their own secure, wireless mesh network in your home.
PIXIE Gateway #
If you are also using the PIXIE Gateway – which literally creates a bridge between the Internet AND your PIXIE devices then some of the functions only related to the Gateway will stop operating.
The PIXIE Gateway provides the ability for your to link your PIXIE home with a range of voice assistants and enables out-of-home control and monitoring if your PIXIE home.
Obviously if the Internet is down for your home, the Gateway cannot communicate to the internet and therefore cannot perform these functions.
However, you are still able to control your PIXIE from the wall plate where the PIXIE devices re mounted and from your Mobile Apps – as long as you are at home.
