Yes. Once set, the “schedule” will continue to work as long as there is electricity supplied to the device.
Even if power is removed, the schedules remain in what is called “NON VOLITILE MEMORY”, meaning the schedules remain in memory and will operate again once power is returned.
However this does operate slightly different depending on which App you are using.
SAL PIXIE #
Each time you open the SAL PIXIE App, the time from your mobile device is pushed into the PIXIE devices and updated to be aligned with your mobile device.
In the event of a power outage and subsequent return of power, schedules are temporarily suspended until you open the SAL PIXIE App on-site.
Once you open and connect, the time is automatically updated and schedules will run again. There is nothing more to do.
PIXIE PLUS #
When using the PIXIE PLUS App the PIXIE G3 Gateway is always connected to an internet time clock, so the time is always up to date.
In the event of a power outage and subsequent return of power, schedules will automatically continue to run as per normal.
Even if the G3 Gateway does not connect to the internet ( due to some internet connectivity issue at the home), this will not impact the schedules running on time as the G3 Gateway has its own internal time clock too.
