Yes, the PIXIE range of switches and dimmers will function as a normal device without Bluetooth connectivity.
So the PIXIE Dimmers will operate from the wall as a dimmer would. For example:
- Press once to turn on
- Press and hold to dim down
- Release, press and hold to dim up
- Press once to turn off
This is true for all PIXIE master devices including dimmers, switches and timers.
Likewise for PIXIE Multifunction Controllers ( used for 2way control or scene switches) – these devices use Bluetooth mesh in the home – without needing an App or Internet – to communicate to the PIXIE Master devices which actually control the connected load ( lights, fans, appliances etc.)
This way home owners always have the ability to control their lights and other PIXIE controlled devices directly from the wall – no matter the state of their mobile device’s battery or internet status.
