More solutions will considered over time as they develop and become more popular in Australia.
Right now SAL PIXIE does not have any plans to operate with the open source Home Assistant, however PIXIE I/O ( input/output) hardware capabilities will provide low level – and on site – integration with other devices which are compatible with this assistant. This effectively means PIXIE can be integrated with Home Assistant.
Additionally, using Samsung SmartThings App it is possible to integrate PIXIE with TUYA devices – however the speed and responsiveness of that service and interface often depends on multiple 3rd parties which in our experience provides a sub-optimal experience. What this means is that YES, PIXIE can be integrated to control and be controlled by TUYA devices using a combination of SmartThings, PIXIE Gateway and other solutions.
