It is a maximum of 15 metres in clear view of each device, subject to the installation construction material (eg: concrete); which can be corrected through the use of the SAL PIXIE USB signal booster (SGBBT).
For projects using all Gen3 products we recommend the use of the PIXIE PC100T-R-BTAS as the preferred Bluetooth Mesh Booster instead.

The SGB/BT USB boosters can be connected to any USB outlet with at least 5vDC such as phone chargers, back of TV’s, modems/routers, game consoles etc.
USB Bluetooth Signal Booster Installation in the Ceiling Space (For Electricians)
- 1. On a permanent active install a plug base
- 2. Into that plug base connect a phone charger with at least 5v DC output
- 3. Connect the USB charger to that phone charger via the USB port.
- 4. Mount this plug base near a downlight hole so you can access it easily later
- 5. Mark these locations on your as-built plans for future servicing.
Many devices in the PIXIE range that have a neutral connection also incorporate an internal Bluetooth Signal Booster.
