Remember as easy as it sounds, you are handling electricity, so ANY task must be conducted by an authorised electrician in Australia.
There are 2 ways to pair:
- Manual Pairing – Using the hardware only
- App Pairing – Using a combination of hardware and App
MANUAL PAIRING
Manual pairing is best used when testing devices for multiway control OR where the PIXIE App will NOT be used.
If you are planning on using either of the PIXIE Apps its best to use the Apps to pair instead. Any manual pairing done, prior to adding the PIXIE Master devices to the Apps will be overwritten if the Master devices are later added to the App.
In this case you would need to re-pair the Multifunction controllers with the devices – either manually or from the App.
Step 1 – Install the PIXIE Master device – Dimmers, Switch, Smart Timer Switch, LED Kit or Controller, Dual relay controller, GPO, Smart Plug – and Multifunction control device.
Step 2 – Make sure the light/load is turned OFF. Ensure the master dimmer or switch and the Pixie Multifunction control are within signal range (as a guide no greater than 15 metres apart).
Step 3 – quickly press the master dimmer or switch button four (4) times, where the LED indicator will commence to flash.
Step 4 – within 30 seconds, quickly press four (4) times the Pixie Multifunction control button, when the LED indicator of the Pixie Multifunction control flashes twice and then holds for 2 seconds, the pairing is complete.
