# How can I boost the range of my Bluetooth® Mesh?

PIXIE has a dedicated Bluetooth mesh booster to improve signal strength and mesh networking.

There are also specific master devices which act as boosters as well.

## Dedicated Bluetooth Mesh Booster for Gen3 PIXIE Networks

The PIXIE SGB3/BTAS is a PIXIE Gen3 product and can support homes with home to 128 PIXIE Master devices.

Its possible to have scores of these devices as part of a network so you can always get a booster where you need it.

This is a small device ( about the size of an electronic transformer) and will fit through a 70mm downlight cut out.

Your electrician can install this with a permanent active, add it to the network using the process in the link below, and then place it safely into your ceiling space through a downlight hole.

## PIXIE Master Devices with Boosters

There are 2 primary products which are often used as additional boosters.

- 1. PIXIE Smart GPO - SPO23BTAM
- 2. ALL PIXIE Smart modules

These devices simply need to be scanned into the PIXIE App,  added to the PIXIE network and they will begin to act as a booster.

**The added benefit is that you can also control any appliance or lamp you plug in as part of your PIXIE home too!**
